Foot Neuromas – Robert M. is a client who is an active 62 y/o male who is 6 ft tall and weighs 172lbs. He states he had severe bilateral neuromas between Metatarsal 2 & 3 on both feet for 4–5 years, with resulting pain when walking. He is an active individual who hikes and skis, but the pain was becoming worse. He was told by a podiatrist his only course of treatment was to have the neuromas removed, but it would leave his 2nd and 3rd toes numb. I treated client with the probe once on the left and right foot with levels 0,1,3,4 for 3 minutes each. The following day, the left foot had no pain and has continued to have no pain for 3 months to date. The right foot had decreased pain the following day and he was given another treatment. The next day, the right foot was pain free and has continued to be pain free for 3 months. CLICK to go back to the TOP.

Knee Pain Preventing Mobility – Martha S. is a fit 60 y/o female who is 5'6" and slender. When pushing heavy furniture laterally with her right knee, she had felt something "tear". Since this time, she has had severe pain in her knee and was unable to fully weight–bear on her right leg. Her doctor told her to wear a knee brace and return in 3 weeks. Client's pain has persisted and has caused her to take off work. She could not walk on her right leg due to swelling and knee pain – on a scale of 10 out of 10. Client was treated with the laser for 9 minutes total using the hand–held and a two–point probe in the lateral meniscus area across the joint surface. The next day, client called to report she was pain–free with no observable swelling. CLICK to go back to the TOP.
Lower Back Pain – Old Ruptured Disc Problem – Colleen H. is a fit 57 y/o female who is 5’7. She went to a chiropractor after having a very bad lower back problem for 3 months. When the pain did not go away after a few adjustments, she had a regular doctor diagnose that she had herniated Discs 3 and 4; 4 and 5. At the time, Colleen didn’t know about laser and neither did her practitioner. When she ruptured her disc, she damaged her thigh muscle, as well, in her right leg. Two years later, she was better, but her leg never did heal properly so she visited a holistic doctor. He put her on systemic enzymes. These took the swelling down, but her thigh still hurt very bad. Colleen couldn’t bend it without pain and it was really tight, where the pelvic bone and leg meet. She couldn’t pull her leg up to her chest. It was very, very tight. She then found out about the laser. She went for treatments every other day and had six treatments. The treatment consisted of applying the laser all the way down the leg and all the way back very, very slowly, taking approximately 20 minutes. After the six treatments, Colleen never had to go again for this problem, but was a firm believer in frequency specific Spectra Laser therapy. Recalling the sequence of recovery, on the very first day after her first treatment, she had no pain the next day. On Day 3, she had her second treatment around 5 pm. By 11:00 am. the next day, her leg felt so much better. She was able to stretch it and found she was about 90 per cent better regarding the pain and extension. She followed up, as recommended, for four more treatments. She said she couldn’t believe the relief she had after so many years of having to live with her pain. CLICK to go back to the TOP.
Back Strain Injury – Robert L. a 62 y/o, 6’2” tall, 230 lb. man in average health re-activated a back injury by attempting to push his car onto the driveway. Unable to even walk properly, he was assisted by a friend and visited a chiropractor. After an adjustment, Bob recalls that the disabling, very sharp pain was minimized, but the ache, soreness, and stiffness remained. Bob contacted a practitioner the next day, who used the Spectra Therapy Laser Dual Modality Stim Pack kit. Bob recalls that a half hour after he received the 15-minute treatment, the soreness in his back was reduced from a pain level of 9 to a 3. Miraculously, the aching was gone and the stiffness was about half. CLICK to go back to the TOP.
Knee – Torn Meniscus – Joe M., a 42 y/o, 6’1”, 195 lb. fit man used to run an average of 25-30 miles/week. In May, 2008 he stopped running after experiencing pain on the inside of his right knee. After being examined by a doctor, the diagnosis was a Grade 3 meniscus tear and prescribed 4 weeks of physical therapy. He gave Joe medications and the therapy did not work. After all this, Joe still had pain on a daily basis, be it normal walking or going up stairs. He certainly could not resume jogging. In late October, Joe tried the Spectra Therapy A1000 laser, using it 3 times per day and for 15 minutes each time. By the end of the 4th day, his causal pain disappeared during normal routine walking and stair climbing. After Day 8, Joe tried jogging a mile around an indoor track and the knee felt strong with no pain. He worked gradually up to 3 miles a day. After 15 days, he felt comfortable with this, but still was very hesitant to really test it. “The laser certainly made my knee feel close to normal, let alone the speed at which it did it.” However, Joe realized the meniscus was still torn and when he increased the activity dramatically, it hurt pretty badly. Approximately 3 weeks after starting laser therapy, when he was in Phoenix, AZ over a weekend, ran 8.5 miles on Saturday and hiked 4 miles on Sunday. It was very sore Mon-Wed., but by Thursday, it felt good again. He kept up with his laser treatments 3x/day on those days and that seemed to help it. Two months later, Joe had surgery to have the Class 3 meniscus tear mended properly. Within 3 weeks, he was strong and began to retrain. CLICK to go back to the TOP.
Knee Replacement – With & Without Spectra Therapy – Del S. is a 70 yr. old, 5’10”, 220 lb. man, active, but not athletic. He is very thankful that his friend, who is also his surgeon, introduced him to the Spectra Therapy Laser at the time Del had his 2nd knee joint replacement. Del started using the unit the day after surgery. To his total surprise, within two weeks, his gait was almost normal, with no pain. His surgeon was most impressed with Del’s progress, strength and range of motion. In comparison, 5 years prior, when Del had his first knee surgery, it took him more than 3 1/2 months to recover. This time, it only took 2 weeks with the laser therapy treatments and his strength was markedly increased after the 4th week. CLICK to go back to the TOP.
Dental Pain – John S., a 58 yr. old man, had a dental gingivitis problem that developed in a lower molar that had been capped. It could not be saved by a root canal and had to be extracted. An upper tooth, in proximity, developed a similar problem, measuring 8.5 mm., was treated with the Spectra Laser. Within 3 months, cell growth measured the same gap at 6.5 mm, a full 2.0 mm. difference. John reported that the pain discomfort was greatly minimized in 2 hrs. after the first treatment and was completely non-apparent by the end of the third day of treatment. He continued daily treatments for 3 months, which resulted in tissue regeneration. CLICK to go back to the TOP.
